A meat tax proposal published 5th February 2020 in the EU Parliament has led to a new initiative of the EU Commission to admit that meat prices are too low, according to the Farm to Fork Strategy. The EU Parliament started to amend the ‘Farm to Fork Strategy’ in February, with votes expected 3 rd of June.
